Outdoor Games: Historical and Traditional

Rolling, racing, and tossing hoops is a childhood tradition the world over. These games were popular in early America and are still popular today, even as the game rules and hoop materials change over time. We bend the hoops for our historical toys and games here at our Vermont shop in the traditional way, steaming green lumber cut into slats from from local trees and bending it to form our solid wood hoops.
